jetAudio Preferences
/ Advanced Settings
jetAudios functions can be
adjusted in a more detailed manner: priority for playback, input/output,
plug-in, decoder preference, and other playback preference.
In general, if there is
no problem at the time of file play back or CD play back, you dont need
to make any adjustment.
However, if the sound is
not played evenly then you could make some adjustment on this window to
resolve that problem.
1.) Doubleclick at "Advanced"
in the left menu opends more Preference Groups
Setting Prioritys. If you
have an very weak computer or if you have opened many different programs,
it can be usefull to set the work priority for the CPU.
If you set "Highest", then
jetAudio have the highest priority and other programs could be slower.
If you set "Time Critical,
then jetAudio is the slowest program.
2.) You can set the CPU priority
in CD playback
3.) You can set the CPU
priority in File Playback
4.) You can set the CPU
priority in CD burning.

Advanced Input Settings
Input: preference for input
plug-in.
(NOTE) This is only possible
when preference for each plug-in is being activated.
1.) Enable the Entry you
want to use or select an entry by doubbleclicking for changing the configuration
if the Entry support it.
2.) By pressing "Config"
an new window with specific options, you can change will open. The Entry
Options are different
from each other based on the usage of each Entry as you can see in the
following screenshot:

Advanced Decoder Settings
Decoder: Preference for MPEG
Decoder.
1.) Enable the Entry
or select it by doubbleclicking for changing the configuration
2.) By pressing "Config"
an new window with specific options, you can change will open.
There are total of five MPEG
Decoders of jetAudio. Decoding could be done by selecting
The higher the beat rate,
the more detailed decoding is possible.
New MP3 Decoder:There are
three Decoder for 32bit floating point ,32bit Fixed point,and 64 bit floating
point.
jetAudio 4.X Decoder: There
are two decoder. 32bit floating point and 64 bit floating point Decoder

Advanced Player Settings
Player: Preference for External
players like DirectShow Player, RealMedia player and Quickplayer if have
been registered.
1.) Enable the Entry you
want to use or select an entry by doubbleclicking for changing the configuration
if the Entry support it.
2.) By pressing "Config"
an new window with specific options, you can change will open. The Entry
Options are different
from each other based on the usage of each Entry

Advanced Output Settings
In the Output preferences,
you can select the Sound device for output and the value of buffering.
1.) Enable the Entry
or select it by doubbleclicking for changing the configuration
2.) By pressing "Config"
an new window with specific options, you can change will open:
Method: Select the Audio
Device you want to use
(If you have more than
one, for ex. you have an soundcard AND the onboard soundchip)
Buffer: choose the value
in seconds, how much of the audiodatas will be pre-buffered in the memory.
The less value, the faster
the reaction, the more value, the more stabile is the output.

Advanced General Settings
General:
Here you can make changings
for the HArdware remote, you want to use for jetAudio
You can use for ex. the
Windows MCE Remote.
1.) Enable the Entry
or select it by doubbleclicking for changing the configuration

Advanced Performance Settings
1.) Disable Spectrum display:
Will not display jetAudios Spectrum and this feature is recommendable for
the computers with low-speed.
Look at the next image to
see, what the Spectrum Display and the EQ-Flat is.
2.) CD-ROM Drive: Will not
inspect CD-Rom Drive on a regular basis: availability of CD in the drive
is not checked.
Note: Sometimes, there is
some problems incurring due to a technical collision between anti-virus
program or CD program and jetAudio.
This kind of problem could
be attributed to CD-ROM Control Order and if you have this problem, you
just need to cancel this option.
1.) The graphic spectrum analyzig display
2.) The Equalizer presets. If you want to disable the spectrum graphics
for saving performance,
you have to select "Flat" in the EQ Presets too.
